Grocery Store Food Drive Volunteer Groups Needed!

SCO struggles to provide food to the 1,200 South County families we serve each month. Our pantry shelves are low, and since the beginning of 2010, SCO has seen an increasing number of families who seek our services. To address this need, SCO partners with local grocery stores and community organizations to hold Grocery Store Food Drives.

We need the help of volunteer groups for these drives.
SCO organizational volunteers greet shoppers, pass out grocery bags and flyers with a list of SCO's most needed food items and accept donations from grocery store shoppers throughout the day. As a food drive volunteer, you will be serving your community directly, as 100% of the food that is collected goes directly to families in South Orange County. You can make a difference!

All drives are held on the third Saturday of every month from 10am to 3pm.
